Many of us might suffered from the irritating crackling noise while playing songs or videos also sometimes video and voice not synchronized properly while playing videos, this is due to high DPC Latency.
The latency should be always <=1000 micro seconds then these problems will not come. To fix this problem in windows 7,8, or 10 just open the power settings and set the Minimum Processor State to 100%. That's it your problem is solved, test it by playing any music or video.
